Who should use this page
This page is for owners of copyrighted material, or people authorised to act for them, who believe material connected with SMARTIFLIX infringes their rights. We review notices sent under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and complaints based on Canadian copyright law in the same way.
Where to send it
We do not publish a separate copyright mailbox. Send your notice through WhatsApp (+212 610 046 062) or the contact form on this site, starting the message with the words "Copyright notice" so it is routed straight to the person who handles these requests.
Details to include
A notice we can act on contains:
- a description of the copyrighted work you say is being infringed;
- a description of the material you want removed and where it appears, precise enough for us to find it;
- your name and a way to reach you, such as a mailing address, phone number or email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner;
- your signature, which may be typed.
What we do next
We acknowledge the notice, review it and, where it is valid, remove or disable access to the material identified. If something essential is missing, we reply asking for it rather than ignoring the notice.
If you believe something was removed by mistake
Send a counter-notice through the same channel. Identify the material that was removed and where it appeared, explain why you believe the removal was a mistake, and include your name, contact details and signature.
