Most likely causes
- The remote playlist was added with a wrong or expired M3U URL, so GSE opens but the channel list is empty.
- An Xtream Codes login was entered with the host, port, username or password slightly wrong, so the API call fails and no channels appear.
- The saved playlist is stale and GSE loaded a cached copy, so old or dead channels show instead of the current list.
- No EPG (XMLTV) URL is set, or the time zone is wrong, so channels play but the programme guide stays blank or shifted.
- GSE Smart IPTV is not available in your region App Store, or the installed build is out of date, so it will not install or behaves oddly after an update.
Fixes, in the order to try them
Add the playlist as a remote URL. In GSE open the remote playlists section and add your list as a remote M3U URL, or use the Xtream Codes login option and enter the host, username and password. Adding it as remote rather than a one-off local file lets GSE refresh it later.
Check every character of the link. Compare the M3U URL, or the Xtream host, port, username and password, against the SMARTIFLIX details exactly. A wrong port on an Xtream login, or a stray space in an M3U URL, is a common reason the list stays empty while the subscription is fine.
Force a refresh or re-add the list. Use the GSE option to reload the playlist so it fetches a fresh copy. If old channels persist, delete the playlist entry and add it again from your current link to clear the cached list.
Set the EPG URL and time zone for the guide. If channels play but the guide is blank, open the EPG settings in GSE, paste the EPG (XMLTV) URL from your details, and set the correct time zone. Then reload the guide and give a large XMLTV file a minute or two to download.
Confirm the app is installed correctly for your region. GSE Smart IPTV availability can change by region and App Store, so if you cannot find or install it, that is not a fault with your line. Install a different native player such as iPlayTV instead and load the same playlist there.
Update or reinstall GSE. Update the app in the App Store and update iOS, iPadOS or tvOS under Settings. If it still misbehaves, delete GSE, restart the device, reinstall it, and add your playlist again to clear a corrupted state.
If the list is still empty after a correct URL and a clean reinstall, test the same playlist in another player. If it works there, the issue is local to GSE; if not, message the SMARTIFLIX desk on WhatsApp to check the line.

GSE Smart IPTV not working FAQ
How do I add my playlist to GSE Smart IPTV?
Use the remote playlists section and add your list as a remote M3U URL, or use the Xtream Codes login with the host, username and password from your SMARTIFLIX details. Adding it as a remote URL rather than a local file lets GSE refresh the list later.
GSE opens but shows no channels. Why?
An empty list usually means the remote URL or Xtream login is wrong, expired or stale. Re-check every character, including the port on an Xtream login, then reload or re-add the playlist. If it still fails, test the same login in another player to isolate GSE.
The guide is blank in GSE. How do I fix it?
Set the EPG (XMLTV) URL from your details in the GSE EPG settings and confirm the time zone, then reload the guide. A large guide can take a minute or two to download on first load, so leave it on the screen rather than reloading repeatedly.
I cannot find GSE Smart IPTV in the App Store. Is it gone?
App availability can vary by region and change over time, so it may not appear in your store even though your subscription is fine. If you cannot install it, use another native player such as iPlayTV and load the same playlist there instead.
